The Department of Laboratories at MedCentral
Health System is a full-service clinical and anatomic pathology
laboratory accredited by the College of American Pathologists.
The main laboratory is located on the first floor of MedCentral/Mansfield
Hospital. Satellite laboratories are located in Shelby
Hospital and the Balgreen Medical Office Building.
Additional laboratory centers, where patients can have their laboratory
tests drawn, are located throughout the north central Ohio area.
Hours:
Hospital laboratories are always open for emergency testing. With a
doctor's order, we will accept walk-in patients any time. For outpatients
who need to have a specimen collected, here are the routine collection
times by facility. An appointment is not needed.
Mansfield Hospital Laboratory is staffed for outpatients Monday through
Friday 7 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday 7 a.m.-3 p.m. For more information,

Shelby Hospital Laboratory is staffed for outpatients 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
daily. Call 419-342-1727.
