We offer comprehensive services for inpatients and outpatients of all ages with physical or psychosocial deficits. We provide treatment at Mansfield and Shelby hospitals, the MedCentral Wellness Complex and in patients' homes, and we also offer outpatient pediatric occupational therapy. We seek to provide excellent individualized care while actively involving patients and their loved ones. As part of the medical treatment team, occupational therapists promote wellness by focusing on prevention as well as treatment.

Physical dysfunction services include the development or restoration of function for daily living, leisure and work. Specialized programs include:

• Adaptive drivers education
• Aquatic therapy
• Arthritis treatment
• Cardiac rehabilitation
• Cognitive retraining
• Hand and upper limb rehabilitation
• Lymphedema reduction
• Pain and stress management
• Pulmonary rehabilitation
• Urinary continence training

Behavioral Health services include:

• Art, music, recreation and occupational therapies
• Expressive therapy
• Leisure education
• Life management skill development
• Relaxation training
• Stress management
