MedCentral Psychiatric ServicesAbout your care About your careWe understand that life will throw everyone some difficult challenges. We have the knowledge, empathy and expertise to help you face these challenges. Our patients receive expert, around-the-clock care for a wide range of psychiatric difficulties, both for adolescents and adults. We seek to help patients meet their own psychosocial, physical, spiritual and safety needs at their individual state of wellness. Our multidisciplinary patient care team consists of a psychiatrist, nurse, social worker, behavioral health therapist, chaplain, dietitian and tutor for the adolescents. This team provides a comprehensive assessment and treatment approach to meet the needs of patients and their families. How to get helpOur staff psychiatrists can admit patients directly after an evaluation, or patients can visit one of our emergency departments for an assessment. If there is threat of harm, either to the patient or others, call 911 or seek treatment in our emergency department. There, a physician, psychiatrist or social worker will provide specialized emergency care that includes a medical evaluation and crisis stabilization. Once an evaluation is complete, the patient can be referred to the appropriate inpatient unit or outpatient treatment services. Treatment optionsYour team will create a treatment plan especially for you. It will identify the concerns you have and how we can work together to make them manageable. We offer an adult inpatient and intensive outpatient program, as well as an adolescent (13-18 years old) inpatient program. Our services include:
