Therapists provide individualized care to clients on acute care units, behavioral health units, inpatient rehabilitation units, or an outpatient basis and in their homes.

Speech Therapy Services assess and treat children and adults with a variety of diagnosis which include:

  • Bell’s Palsy and other facial/oral motor deficits
  • Developmental delay for speech/language
  • Foreign dialect
  • Laryngectomy
  • Hearing impairment
  • Stroke
  • Stuttering
  • Swallowing disorders
  • Tracheostomy/ventilator dependent
  • Voice disorders
  • Traumatic brain injury

Specialized services include:

  • Blom-Singer Voice Prosthesis evaluation, fitting and modification
  • Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation (DPNS)
  • Facial Muscle Exercise Program (FMEP) through electrical stimulation
  • Modified barium swallow studies

Audiological services are provided on a contract basis for our infant hearing screening program and as needed for acute care, behavioral health, and inpatient rehabilitation units.

Physician referrals are needed for all inpatient and home health services. Referrals are not required for pediatric outpatient and speech therapy.
