Sports Medicine Center

We help you get back in the game, back on the job and back to your best. We provide specialized, high-quality care to prevent and treat sports-related injuries through proper training and rehabilitation. Treatment is rendered on the referral of a physician.

Services include:

• Evaluation of musculoskeletal and postoperative injuries
• Functional therapeutic exercises and conditioning
• Evaluation and treatment of spinal injuries
• Gait exam / biomechanical evaluations
• Sports specific rehabilitation
• Custom fabrication and fitting of orthotics
• Custom fit of braces, supports and protective devices
• Taping and wrapping for specific sports
• Community education seminars
• Coaches’ recertification seminars

Bump and Bruise Clinic

We provide comprehensive care to athletes on Saturdays (except on holiday weekends) at 9 a.m. in the Sports Medicine Department, located in the MedCentral Wellness Complex, 1750 West Fourth Street, Mansfield.

Our goal is to improve performance and care of the athlete through proper identification and management of athletic injuries. The clinic is limited to student, collegiate and semi-professional athletes, and written parental permission is required, preferably with the parent or guardian accompanying underage athletes.

The assessment is free, but appropriate insurance information is required because other care such as diagnostic X-rays, supplies, braces or further ongoing physical therapy will be your financial responsibility.
